Refund & Return Policy

This policy applies only to orders purchased through the website. Purchases made at retail locations or on other websites adhere to the policies of those stores and websites and must be handled through them.



Bokashi products are checked multiple times to meet very high standards of quality, and to be free of defects in material and craftsmanship. Any item claimed as defective must be returned to Bokashi for inspection. This policy does not apply if the damage is due to what Bokashi deems as normal wear, or due to the use of Bokashi products for purposes other than those intended. Certain types of damage such as those due to age or improper treatment void this return policy. A restock fee of $20 will be charged on each item returned.

All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt of goods. Customers are required to email [email protected] to request instructions for shipping returns to one of Bokashi’s warehouses around the world. A tracking number for the returned item(s) has to be submitted by email to [email protected] within these 14 days. Only unused items packed in their original packaging will be eligible for refund. Bokashi is not responsible for any loss or damage in transit to our address. Shipping insurance is recommended at customer’s discretion.

Returns that do not comply with the conditions stated above will not be accepted for a refund or an exchange.

If you wish to get a refund on your purchase, we ask for you to contact our Customer Care department instead of going to your bank or credit card company and initiating a chargeback.

Refunds are processed faster through Bokashi vs. a chargeback, so you'll get your money back sooner if we conduct your return.

If your order has already shipped, your charge back will be denied.
