This is an incredible knife set. I do a lot of cooking that includes slicing, chopping and peeling. I have always wanted a really good knife set, as I'm tired of thing's being hard to cut etc. Bokashi Green Egg knives have amazing packaging. I strongly suggest that if you are looking for a quality kitchen knife set, these are the knives for you. BE CAREFUL they are all so sharp, and I suggest that after each use you DON'T put it in the dish washer hand wash and hand dry only. So the bottom line is if you want quality, and a company that will bend over backwards to help you then Bokashi is the way to go.

I have a Damascus set purchased in October of 2018. The knives paid for themselves in one semester of private cooking. I work in a resturant and they are used on a daily basis. First sharpening was in February of 2020 and they are honed as needed with a ceramic honer. I tell people having your own tools makes the job at hand easier. These knives have made my work very easy.

As a backyard “Dad Chef” I do a ton of cooking outside on my Big Green Eggs. I wanted a knife that could match the performance of my grills and stand up to being used nearly everyday. I was really excited when I saw that Big Green Egg had partnered on this knife set.
I started with the Chef’s knife from Bokashi Steel and instantly fell in love. From the green Pakkawood handles to the gorgeous mirror finish on the blade and how great it feels in my hand. I knew right away that this would be my go to knife both outside by the grills as well as in the kitchen. After a month or so of daily use Bokashi released the remaining knives in the set. The Slicer , Utility and Santoku have now joined them arsenal and I could not be more pleased. Exceptional quality and durability and stunningly gorgeous. Well done Bokashi
I've only used the utility knife at this point but it feels solid and balanced and cuts extremely well.

The 8 inch slicer worked its way though my chicken very easily and the weight distribution is great in my hands. The 7 inch santoku knife if perfect for all of my veggie work from slicing to dicing. The 5.5 inch utility knife is also a perfect size for my hands and I can utilize it for so many different needs around the kitchen.
Overall, I am loving the Bokashi Steel Big Green Egg knives. The attention to detail is wonderful. From the fire pattern on the steel to the green pakkawood handles, you'll love these knives for years and years ahead.
I love the size of this chefs knife. Its perfect for everything from slicing a steak to cutting up a whole chicken. Not to mention very sharp. Plus that green BGE edition handle is gorgeous!

The knife has some mass and heft in it and handled splitting a spaghetti squash easily. After that it could still cut super-thin onion slices. The wide blade made scooping things off the cutting board easy. The fact that the knife is a gorgeous instrument is an added plus!
